First Step Towards a Healthier Tomorrow: Our Holistic Health and Nutrition Project Has Been Approved!

When we look at the growing disease rates, we understand the vital importance of healthy nutrition more clearly than ever. The World Health Organization's report on issues arising from the consumption of non-organic foods explicitly demonstrates that cancer cases and immune system disorders are increasing every year as a result of the accumulation of chemicals and hormones used in agricultural production. Through the activities we will implement within the scope of our Holistic Health and Nutrition project, we will draw attention to these critical health concerns and equip youth workers with awareness regarding holistic health and organic nutrition.
During the implementation process, our project will enable participating youth workers to identify the benefits of organic nutrition over processed foods, aim to reduce obesity and diet-related health risks among young people, and raise awareness that supports sustainable agricultural practices and biodiversity by reducing the use of harmful chemicals. Furthermore, it will empower participants to lead healthy eating habits in their local communities, facilitate the cross-cultural exchange of traditional organic food practices, and foster active citizenship by strengthening young people with valuable life skills in line with Erasmus+ objectives.
